Firmament is a Cyan, Inc. new IP, which is currently in production after being funded with kickstarter.
I was involved with the creation of the proof of concept vertical slice demo and trailer.
My responsibilities for the demo included
-Creating the elevator blueprint (game-play specific blueprint additions added by programming team)
-Block out, set dressing and lighting parts of the Hub area
-Modeling, texturing, and materials for the mechanical elements in the demo
-The high poly and low poly for the Transport pod's exterior were created by Derrick Robinson. I was tasked with taking the model to a completed state - UV mapping, texture baking, materials, rigging, animation, and initial blueprint setup
-I was fully responsible for the transport pod's interior
My additional responsibilities for the trailer included
-Set dressing and lighting the laboratory and pipework scene
-Camera tracking a majority of the scenes
